Common questions

Can I link my Amazon Seller account directly?
Not yet — direct Amazon Seller account linking is being worked on. For now, download your Seller Central reports and upload them as they are; Margin Copilot identifies each file automatically. No account is needed, and we haven't announced a release date.
Do I need to rename my files?
No. Upload Amazon's files exactly as downloaded. Margin Copilot reads the columns inside each file to work out which report it is, then imports it to the right place.
Can I upload several reports at once?
Yes. Select multiple files in the upload window — each one is identified and imported on its own.
What happens if I upload the same report twice?
Nothing is duplicated. Re-importing updates existing records, so it's safe to upload overlapping date ranges.
Which file types work?
CSV and TXT files (comma- or tab-separated), up to 50 MB each. This is what Seller Central gives you by default.
How do I add product costs?
Enter them on the Costs page, or download the template there, fill it in and upload it like any other report.
