Privacy policy

Margin Copilot helps Amazon sellers understand their profitability and inventory. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Your uploaded reports and business data belong to you.

• Account information — your name (if you provide it), email address and password when you create an account.
• Email update signups — your email address, the page you signed up from, your consent and the submission date. Signing up for updates does not create an account.
• Reports you upload — Amazon Seller Central files such as transactions, orders, listings and inventory reports. These contain order data, SKUs, prices, fees and similar business records.
• Costs and settings you enter — product costs, margin targets, notification preferences and other configuration.
• Usage data — basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service working and secure.

• To import, store and analyse the reports you upload so the app can show you profit, inventory and alerts.
• To provide your account, authentication and password reset.
• To send service notifications you have opted into, such as margin alerts and weekly summaries.
• To send occasional product updates if you opt into the email update list. You can unsubscribe from update emails or contact support@margincopilot.com to leave the list or request deletion.
• To maintain, secure and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

Each account's data is isolated and visible only to you. Your uploaded reports, costs and calculated figures are never shared with or sold to other users or third parties, and are never used to build cross-customer analytics.

Your data is stored in a managed cloud database with encryption in transit and at rest, and access is protected by row-level security tied to your account. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, though no service can guarantee absolute security.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service (application hosting, managed database and authentication, and email delivery for notifications). These providers process data only on our behalf to deliver the service. Links you follow to Amazon Seller Central are governed by Amazon's own privacy policy.

We use essential cookies and browser storage only, to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete individual records from within the app, or contact us to delete your account and all associated data. Deleting your account removes your reports, costs and settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond promptly.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email.
